The establishment of the college has been approved by the Minister of Education as a Higher Learning Private Institution (IPTS) on the 11 July 1997 with the name “INSTITUT YAYASAN ALOR GAJAH”. It also registered with the Registry of Melaka schools on the 29 September 1997.
With the expansion and increasing of equipment’s and teaching staff, “INSTITUT YAYASAN MELAKA” officially renamed as “KOLEJ TEKNOLOGI YAYASAN ALOR GAJAH” on 11 May 2002 which is known as KT-YAGA. KT-YAGA was then taken over in late 2009 by a strong name in the higher education sector, KN Education. Sdn. Bhd.
Once again, due to increasing number of students, we moved to Pajam on July 2016 and becoming one of the most competent private college in Negeri Sembilan.
In line with the vision, another rebranding made and formally approval on 17 November 2023 by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) under Ministry of Human Resource and the college is now known as KOLEJ TEKNIKAL IBNU SINA (PAJAM) and KOLEJ TEKNIKAL BUMIPUTERA (MELAKA).
